Our Story
ThePlayCo began the way most honest stories do — with a problem we couldn't ignore. Our founder spent years working in women's and child healthcare clinics, and later completed a Master's in Health Policy focused on early childhood development. Along the way, she became a mother of four — and started ThePlayCo during her Master's, right as she was searching for play equipment that actually supported how young children grow.
She couldn't find pieces that were both developmentally sound and built to last, so she started designing them herself — and testing them, quite literally, at home with her own kids.
Today, ThePlayCo designs and hand-builds wooden play equipment for early childhood development — Pikler triangles, learning towers, rockers, and custom inclusive play spaces — made by a small workshop team of carpenters and a polisher, right here in Pakistan.
Our Approach
Every piece we build is grounded in child development research, not just aesthetics. We work closely with parents, therapists, and educators to make sure our equipment supports real physical and cognitive milestones — not just Instagram-worthy nurseries.
Our Promise to You
Every ThePlayCo product comes with a 1-year refund/replacement warranty. If your item ever arrives damaged — including damage caused by the courier — we'll replace it or refund you, no questions asked. Because our products are handcrafted from real wood, we accept returns or replacements for damage within 30 days of purchase, since some issues only become visible after a few days of use.
